Mikal Abdullah

Professor Mikal Abdullah is a 3rd Degree BJJ Black Belt, US Army veteran, international champion, father, and teacher. He received his black belt and all of his degrees under Professor Allen Mohler of the Alliance/Jacaré lineage.

After the military, Jiu-Jitsu was a huge lifeline — a way to rebuild his health, meet some of the best friends he could ask for, and keep growing into the best version of himself. Sharing that same experience with new students has been the guiding light since he opened the first Aces location in 2013.

Today he leads the coaching staff across both Aces locations, teaching the structured syllabus that has developed champions from white belt — never recruited — and built one of the winningest competition teams in Central Texas.
