MMA News - ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong announced at the press conference of ONE: HEART OF THE LION at the Marina Bay Sands last Wednesday that Demetrious Johnson will be a part of the eight-man Flyweight World Grand Prix. The Flyweight World Grand Prix will be composed of eight of the best MMA flyweights in the talented ONE flyweight division. “I spent seven years in North America fighting the best in the world. I’ve never traveled to Asia to fight the best. I think now is the perfect time to do it,” Johnson said at the press conference of ONE: HEART OF THE LION in Singapore. “Now that they just announced a World Grand Prix for the flyweight division, it has always been a dream of mine to actually compete in Asia in a World Grand Prix.”
